The good news is iOS 7 is set to released and users worldwide are already excited about making the update. However, there are a few things to do before installing the "world's most advanced mobile operating system."
Check Your Device Compatibility
First of all, you need to check whether your iPhone, iPod or iPad is capable of running iOS 7. As compatible, Apple listed the following: iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPod touch fifth generation (16GB; 32GB/64GB), iPad 2, iPad with Retina display, iPad mini.
Make Sure Your Device is Charged
If your device is eligible for the upgrade, the next thing you should do is to check its battery. As ridiculous as it may sound, your device need to have a minimum of 50% when installing the software.
Clean Up Your Device
In other words, it's time to go through your apps and get rid of those that are unused. After all, they are just clogging up the storage space.
Update Your Apps
Now that your device is all cleaned up, make sure that the remaining apps are up-to-date. It's highly recommendable to install any updates that developers put fourth in order to avoid possible bad behavior once iOS 7 is on board.
Backup Your Device
It's time for a backup. Prior to the update, you will want to backup all of your files in case anything goes wrong. Actually, if we take in consideration iOS 7 is a massive overhaul, this is particularly crucial. There are still chances that some things won't be agreeable with the software.
These are the 5 things that everyone needs to do in order make the installation of iOS 7 easier on both yourself and your iOS device.
