Big Brands Grow Faster On Twitter Than Facebook

According to Optimal, a company for social advertising and analytics, companies tend to grow quicker on Twitter than on Facebook. Optimal processes data from 4,330 brands that are represented online. Those brands had a total of 3.49 billion likes on Facebook and 595 million followers on Twitter. From a week to week basis, the brands added less Facebook likes and more Twitter followers. The average growth rates show 0.53% for Facebook and 0.83% for Twitter.
However, these numbers do not refer to all brands in particular. This is an overall average percentage. The fact is that some companies are more popular on Facebook while others are more popular on Twitter.
The report only comes to prove that Twitter is gaining popularity when it comes to social media marketing.
