Facebook's Like And Share Buttons Get A Redesign
Posted: November 14, 2013 by Alex Chan
Since its start in 2010, Facebook hasn't made any redo at all of its much exploited "Like" and "Share" buttons. Believe it or not, they are embedded on 7.5 million websites and are used by more than 22 billion times per day, according to the latest numbers released by the social network.
Bearing in mind, the two buttons are instrumental in driving traffic to their website, you may find surprising that Facebook hasn't tackled yet with their makeover until now. Some of you may say they have complied to the "if it's not broken, don't fix it" attitude, but to that we'll add, that's not the way Facebook functions. So, the time has come for the major social networking site to refurbish their key team players to come to even greater success.
Long story short, Facebook new "Like" and "Share" buttons will consist of a lowercase F, together with the word "Like" and "Share", respectively. Plus, they will be set upon their trademark blue background.
