Graph Search On Facebook Available From Monday
Posted: July 9, 2013 by Alex Chan
After six months of beta testing, Facebook released a statement that Graph Search will become available to millions of users starting from this week.
The beta version of Graph Search was released in January. Back then, Facebook's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, presented Graph Search as a new revolutionized way of Internet search. While regular search engines provide links that "may or may not" have the answer to your search, Graph Search provides the actual answer to your question.
Ever since the Facebook tool became available for beta testing, many people have raised issues about how Graph Search invades privacy. As the tool becomes available to millions of users in the following weeks, the privacy concerns have yet to be discussed. With the release of the tool, Facebook users will have to start paying more attention to privacy.
The mobile version of Graph Search is still pending and no release date has been set. So far, Graph Search is only available on browsers.
