Sure, you can treat yourselves with iPhone 5S or Samsung Galaxy S4 in gold colors, but HTC UK has gone one step further creating an HTC one made of actual gold. Only five users will have the privilege to use this phone since the Gold HTC One comes as a very limited edition, i.e., only five of them will be produced. That's pretty related with their hefty price tag of £2,750 ($4,416).
The luxurious device, made of real 18 carat gold is specially designed to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the MOBO awards, dedicated to black music in the United Kingdom. Thus, it also has a special MOBO 18 logo carved on the back and one of the phones will be presented to the winner of the Best Newcomer category at the MOBO awards ceremony on October 19.
As for its specifications they are the same, or precisely speaking inside the gold-plated case can be found the same 4.7-inch display, the typical Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage along with a 4-megapixel Ultrapixel camera.
We leave to you to decide whether this gold One limited edition is a golden opportunity or just another horrible idea.
