iOS 7 Jailbreak Is Now Available

To all those hoping for an iOS 7 jailbreak this season, your Christmas miracle has arrived. A team of hackers aka evad3rs have released the jailbreak for Apple's latest mobile operating system iOS 7, letting iUsers download apps, extensions and themes that are neither approved nor available through the official Apple App Store.
Called evasi0n7 jailbreak, it's said to work on iPhones, iPads or iPods running iOS 7.0 through to 7.0.4. The pretty straight forward process will take around 5 minutes to install via a USB cable connecting the user's device to a compatible computer running Windows, Mac OS X or Linux.
However, have in mind that there are always some risks associated with unofficial OS adjustments. Whereas Jay Freeman, the developer of Cydia – the preferred software application for iOS, warned via Twitter that he hasn't got an actual chance to test Cydia's app distribution platform with the new evasi0n7 jailbreak, some claim the software has already struck some incompatibility snags.
In respect of the above, the evad3rs team warns: "Please always backup your phone before installing new tweaks from Cydia as your iPhone could be stuck in the boot process. The situation will improve as developers will update their software."
Also, don't forget that this is only a jailbreak, not a SIM unlock. Meaning, it won't allow you to move from one carrier to another, you will be only able to install home-brew software.
Happy jailbreaking and Merry Christmas everyone!
