The newest smartphone by Nokia has some excellent improvements that can compete with the iPhone and Samsung smartphones on the market. Nokia's Vice President announced that the reasons behind the Microsoft partnership lies in the various and broad ecosystem that Microsoft has. Nokia finally did something about the long line of criticism regarding the weight of its phones. Compared to the previous Lumia 920 that weighed 185g, the Lumia 925 weighs only 139g. The phone is only 8.5mm thick and you can immediately feel the difference from other models. Nokia designers excluded a wireless charger for this model just so they could provide a lighter phone. However, the wireless charger is available as an additional gadget and bought separately.
What makes Nokia Lumia 925 a solid rival to the other great smartphones out there is its camera? The Lumina 925 is equipped with an 8.7 megapixel camera that has an additional sixth lens which improves the overall performance of the camera. The camera shows great performance in very bright-light and very low-light situations. During the presentation of the phone it turned out that the camera on the Lumia 925 took better photos in dark surroundings than iPhones, HTC One, Blackberry and other. Besides the hardware of the camera, the Lumia 925 has new software for the camera, called Nokia Smart Camera. This software enables users to manipulate a photo by enhancing. Basically the camera takes a burst of 10 images that have a 5 megapixel quality and afterwards users can play with each image until they create the best one of all.
Other specifications of the Lumia 925 are its 1.5GHz dual-core processor, its 4.5-inch display, a screen that allows users to change the brightness of the colors, Nokia Music, HERE mapping etc. The colors available for the Nokia Lumia 925 are charcoal black with aluminum edges, white with silver edges and gray.
