It's Official: Teens Are Leaving Facebook For Twitter

Not only Facebook is no longer the most popular social network among teenagers, but now we can officially confirm they are leaving the site for Twitter's sake.
Even though the social media king has recently granted its teenage users to post publicly, it seems that didn't stop them from using Twitter and Instagram at an increasing rate. Why? Well, there's just too much drama and gossip to handle on Facebook.
This latest news come from a survey from the Pew Internet & American Life Project, which concluded that even though 94% of teenage social media users still have Facebook accounts, more and more are jumping ship to Twitter and Instagram because of what Pew found as "increasing adult presence, people sharing excessively, and stressful 'drama.'"
If you still doubt the above, maybe this confirmation from Facebook's CFO David Ebersam will change your mind: "We did see a decrease in daily users partly among younger teens," he said. He also went to add that they are not fleeing Facebook completely, but using the site less frequently.
