Following in the footsteps of the world's largest tech giants, Samsung has announced their first annual Developers Conference. The conference is set to take place in San Francisco, at the West St. Francis Hotel, between October 27 and 29 this year. According to Samsung, the conference will not be focused solely on mobile, but it will include a wider aspect on the company's other divisions, platforms, and devices as well. For the Korean tech giant, the developer's conference will be an opportunity to cast new developers into their team.
Samsung's conference will be slightly different from all other conferences as it will cover all areas of the company's technological portfolio such as TVs, smartphones, cameras, and many other devices. Unlike Google who offer developers a chance to gather together and take part in Google's workshops, Samsung is planning to target developers interested in specific areas. For example, developers interested in mobile will have chance and opportunity to help the company in creating unique apps for Samsung's modified Android platform.
Other areas which are believed to be popular during the upcoming conference are media streaming and cloud DVR. These two divisions are growing into Samsung's top priority interests as the company is trying to boost sales of their smart TVs. In general, the developer's conference in October will be the perfect opportunity for Samsung to present its platforms to the public, and create great opportunities to increase its businesses. All interested parties should sign up in order to be notified when registrations for attendance are open.
