The sales of the new Samsung Galaxy S4 are going through the roof. In less than a month, the Korean electronics giant sold 10 million devices throughout the world. According to the numbers, Galaxy S4 sells faster than any of the previous smartphones released by Samsung.
By selling 10 million devices in less than a month, Galaxy S4 set a new record for Samsung. If you do the math, it turns out that 4 smartphones Galaxy S4 are sold every second. Its predecessors, the Galaxy S3, reached 10 million devices sold in 50 days. Older models like S2 and S, hit 10 million in a couple of months.
Compared to the Samsung Galaxy S4, the sales of the iPhone 5 did not go as expected. The investors expected that the phone would reach 8 million devices sold for the first weekend of its released. However, the iPhone 5 only sold 5 million devices for the first opening weekend.
Most of the experts believe that the reasons behind Samsung's success lie in the way both phones were presented to the public. The comments about the new Samsung Galaxy S4 were far better and more positive than the comments regarding the new iPhone 5.
