Tesla Sales Surpass Mercedes, Audi and BMW

Even though the Tesla Model S car seems too expensive for the average consumer, the car seems to be selling just fine.
With a price of $70,000, the Tesla Model S electric car has sold more than popular gasoline cars manufactured by Mercedes, Audi and BMW. For the first quarter of 2013, Tesla sold nearly 5,000 vehicles, 2,000 more than Mercedes, and twice the number of cars sold by BMW and Audi.
The point is that the Tesla Model S is slowly conquering the car market and the hearts of the consumers in the electric car realm.
This electric car not only saves you gas money, but buying it will get you a $7,500 tax credit from the US Government for buying an environmentally friendly car. Tesla seems to be doing great this year despite the predictions. This year it announced that it had turned in a higher profit than the expectations from Wall Street.
