Twitter Ads Upcoming Lead Generation Cards Let You Collect Emails

Twitter finally launched their Lead Generation Card. This application will bring a significant change to advertising on Twitter as it literally connects your customers to the signup button.
So, how does the Lead Generation Card actually work? It's really quite simple. If a company wishes to offer a specific service, product, sales, discounts, or special offers, they will use their Twitter profiles to create a tweet about it. The tweet can contain a photo, video, or Vine attachment. Once created, the tweet will be forwarded to Twitter to add the "Lead Generation" button. When approved, a "Join the Club" button is added directly to the advertorial tweet. From there, every user that clicks the "Join the Club" button will pass their contact information directly to the company. The user's basic information passed by Twitter will include the e-mail address and name.
Based on what we've seen, this app is a great way for companies to collect emails for future usage. Allowing the ability to collect emails and contact information directly off Twitter is a dream come true for email marketers. At this time there is no confirmation checkbox which makes it all the more enticing.
So far, this application is only available to the certain clients on Twitter. The company has stated the app will become available to small and medium-sized businesses very soon.
