Upcoming Twitter Updates About Direct Messages

It appears there won't be a summer break for the social networks. Twitter, just like Instagram, Vine, Facebook, and others, released their newest updates to their messaging system, search, and much more.
As of Monday, Twitter stated that all direct messages will be synced across all devices a user has added to their profile. This upgrade means that messages won't be marked unread on other devices, like a tablet or a PC, after you have read the message on you smartphone, and vice versa.
Other updates include the search results on Twitter. When users search for other people on Twitter, they will be able to see their full bio. This will only be available if users use Android, iPhone, or iPad devices. Twitter also added a new indicator to the search results that will show tweets related to the search. That way, people can see what's trendy and related to their search immediately.
Regarding the iPhone and Android experience, Twitter released upgrades making both Android and iOS apps the same. From now on, iPhone users can enjoy the "people button" which can be used to find accounts that could be interesting or relevant to the user.
