Vine Releases Updates For Better Video Experience

Since its release in 2012, Vine has not made any updates on its services. But with some serious competition coming from Instagram, the Twitter-owned video sharing app has released new features for their iOS app.
The updates include 15 new channels where users can submit their Vine videos, a set of new tools to "spice up" a 6 second clip, an "On the Rise Section" that streams viral videos, and the ability to "revine" a video. Through "revining", users can share videos they love to create viral videos. The video app also improved their privacy controls.
The release of Instagram Video was a big blow for Vine as people went from sharing 3 million videos a day to just 900,000. However, many believe that some competition was the right "push" Vine needed to start working on future updates and improvements.
