Even though the rumors for the newest iPhone said to expect the device as early as July, it seems that we Apple lovers will have to wait for the "5S" (or whatever its name will be) a little bit longer. It turns out that the new iPhone will probably hit the markets by this fall.
Traditionally, the second version of every smartphone that Apple has ever made has always had improvements; compare 3GS to 3G, or 4S to 4. It is only normal to expect that the newest iPhone will have great improvements regarding its operating system, camera, configuration, and many more additions.
It is very certain that the new iPhone will have improvements on the camera. According to statistics, more photos are taken with Apple devices than regular cameras. The iPhone camera tops the 5 most popular cameras today. We believe that the new iPhone will be equipped with a 12 megapixel camera in the back, and a 2 megapixel camera in the front. The flash of the new iPhone will be "smart". This means that depending on the outer conditions, it can flash with either white or yellow color.
The screen of the new iPhone will be made out of IGZO material and will also have improved Retina+ resolution. Other improvements are expected in the phone's processor. The new iPhone is expected to have a faster A7 quad-core processor and 128 GB configuration. Also, every phone is expected to have an integrated 4G.
As the operating system for the iPhone has remained mostly the same since its first introduction to the market, it is expected that the iOS7 will introduce some changes in the design language of the popular smartphone or even an entirely new design.
However, the two mostly anticipated designs that are rumored to be incorporated in the newest version of the iPhone are the Finger scanning technology and the NFC (near field communication) capability. These two innovations will definitely bring the "S" in the new iPhone 5. The "S" will stand for security and shopping. The finger scanning technology is long awaited by Apple and it seems that the newest iPhone will be the best possible way to introduce it. It's said that this particular technology and its integration with the iOS7 are the reason for the delay.
With these innovative technologies, Apple plans to compete against Samsung's SAFE program and Google' Wallet.
